HULL RUSH

Privacy

THE SHORT VERSION

Hull Rush collects nothing, sends nothing, and has no servers. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind.

WHAT IS STORED, AND WHERE

The game saves two things, on your device only, using your browser's local storage:

Neither ever leaves the device. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its data, deletes both permanently. There is no copy anywhere else, which also means there is no way for us to restore them.

NETWORK

The game makes no network requests at all, on any platform. It has no servers to talk to, and everything it needs to run — including its two typefaces — is carried in the bundle. Earlier versions fetched those typefaces from Google Fonts on first run; they no longer do, so no third party sees a request of any kind.

PERMISSIONS

The app asks for no permissions. It uses the screen wake lock while a run is in progress, so the display does not dim mid-game, and the vibration motor for brief impact feedback. Both are handled by the system, both stop when the run does, and neither reads anything.

CHILDREN

The game is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.

CHANGES

If this ever changes — if a leaderboard or anything else that touches a network is added — this page will say so before the feature ships, and the date below will change.
